Joan K. Glunk is a graduate of the Academy of Lymphatic Studies, Princeton, New Jersey with certification in the Vodder method of manual lymphatic drainage and Complete Decongestive Therapy for lymphedema.

As Director of Lymphatic Care Specialists, LLC, she is an active member of the Associated Bodyworkers and Massage Practitioners and the National Lymphedema Network. She also has been named as a member of the National Register's Who's Who in Executives and Professionals.

Joan has had the opportunity of working in the foremost treatment clinic in the United States, Lerner Lymphedema Services. Her experience in dealing with lymphedema is unique in that she has worked solely in the field since 1995 and has treated many types of lymphedema with excellent results. Her CDT treatment of a breast cancer patient was featured on Peter Jennings World News Tonight in April, 1997. In June, 2002, Joan traveled to the world renowned Foeldi Klinik in Hinterzarten, Germany to further her education in lymphedema study under the tutelage of Dr. Ethel Foeldi.

Joan is available to speak to groups regarding the benefits of CDT for lymphedema patients. She also teaches basic techniques of lymphatic massage to patients, families and caregivers.
